That Leaf Foundations

That Leaf was grown from a lifelong passion for health, food, and care. Founded by Gabrielle, a nurse turned microgreens farmer based in Gisborne, Victoria, the business was shaped by witnessing the very real impact food can have on health and wellbeing in her nursing career.

Paired with a love of gardening and a deep interest in food as medicine, Gabrielle grew That Leaf from the ground up with the support of her husband, Rohan. What began as growing microgreens in a sunny family room quickly evolved into an indoor vertical farm and designing aesthetic sprouting kits.

Today, That Leaf focuses on local markets, supplying wholesale microgreens to restaurants, and offering sprouting kits for home growers, making fresh, nourishing food more accessible to the wider community.

Food With Purpose

At That Leaf, growing good food goes hand in hand with doing good. Built on the belief that food is a form of care, we proudly donate fresh produce to the Gisborne Food Bank to support our local community, and contribute to UNICEF to help provide food for children who need it most. From our backyard to the wider world, we believe everyone deserves access to nourishment.
